Setting an Image as your Desktop

Windows Users:

  1. Get the image onscreen in your web browser.
  2. Right-click on it.
  3. Choose "Set Image As Desktop" (Internet Explorer) or, if you use Netscape, whatever the Netscape equivalent is. I don't use Netscape. At least, not for Windows.

Mac Users:

  1. First of all, good choice with using a Mac.
  2. Get the image onscreen in your web browser.
  3. Click and hold on the image, then choose either "Download Image to Disk" (Internet Explorer) or "Save Image As..." (Netscape).
  4. Choose Apple Menu -> Control Panels -> Appearance
  5. Select the "Desktop" tab.
  6. Click "Select Picture" and find the file you saved in step 3.
  7. Click "Set Desktop".
